Putting Our Tools To The Test On The La Marzocco

Welcome back to our TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) series, where we put our gear to the test and dive deep into coffee quality. Next up we decided to turn it up a notch and test on the La Marzocco. In this video we show how to install our HD shower screen and explore both our HE and EP baskets. In this TDS series, we start by pulling an espresso shot using a coffee machine stock standard and compare it to a shot made after upgrading the machine with our premium equipment. Using a TDS meter, we determine which shot delivers the best extraction in terms of dissolved solids, one of the key indicators of espresso quality.
