The LSST Discovery Alliance Data Science Fellowship Program is an innovative training program for Astronomy graduate students to prepare them for data intensive science with the Vera C. Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time. In this lecture, Dr. Colin Slater, Research Scientist at the University of Washington, introduces Point Source Photometry. This lecture was part of Session 24: Image Processing for Wide Field Astronomical Surveys hosted by the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
