Motorcycle Tour of The New Forest - Episode 2

We start episode 2 in the sleepy little town of Milford on Sea (which apparently has a larger population of over 60s than any other seaside town!) A short ride to the quaint Keyhaven Ferry and a lovely relaxed boat trip took us to Hurst Castle, built by Henry V111 to protect the Solent from attacks from the continent in 1544. A strange but interesting place that has seen huge changes from Tudor times through two World Wars. From Milford we took a leisurely ride through some beautiful New Forest towns and villages including Buckler's Hard, a unique and historic maritime village. From there to our eventual destination of Fordingbridge we loved the open beauty of the New Forest and its "Wild Ponies". The Railway Hotel in Fordingbridge was an amazingly, quaint Railway themed, Victorian hotel and a brilliant place to end this part of our fantastic tour of The New Forest.
