Motorcycle Tour of The New Forest - Ep 3

Our last episode sees us leave the beautiful New Forest and make our way back North via the equally beautiful Cotswolds. We were fortunate to have brilliant weather during our short tour of The New Forest so we got to see it at its best. An overnight stay in the lovely village of Bourton-on-the-Water was a great way of ending our tour and although the good weather deserted us it remained dry enough to enjoy wandering through the "Venice of The Cotswolds"! We were surprised at just how busy Bourton was given the fact that we were definitely off peak in October which made our plans for dinner more frustrating. The Lansdowne B+B was a superb place to stay and suggested several great places to eat - sadly all of them were fully booked! In the end we opted for a curry and just for sheer entertainment value it was a memorable night. The following day we set off home only to have our leisurely ride back disrupted by a tyre issue. Sue ended up back as a pillion for the first time since she passed her test!
