PTA Subway: "REMODELED" R40 Slant Train “Testing” as the "KNICKS SPECIAL 🏀" in Callaghan/Madison Av!

Taken on June 8th, 2026 The "Remodeled" R40 Slant Train is currently undergoing admin testing on the Callaghan/Madison Avenue Lines. This train serves as a "(K)nicks Special" Semi-Express Service, skipping stops along the Callaghan Line and running express on Madison Avenue and Whitestone. It loops around Whitestone Yard before returning to 21st Street-Putnam Square Gardens, making Local Stops! As the PTA introduces this Special (K)nicks Train, it also supports the New York Knicks as they compete in the NBA Finals. The Knicks are facing off against the Spurs in Game 3 at Madison Square Garden, with the series currently at a 2-0 score in favor of the Knicks! Let's root for New York's own team as they soon become Champions in 53 Years!
