9th Gate Movie Symbolism

I mispronounce Telfer's last name over and over throughout the video... YES, I KNOW ABOUT THE DEAN Thing. LUCAS Corso was the name in the original novel and the Russian dubbed movie version. This adds to the symbolism of the Light Bringer being the Dean. I didn't put in the video, but did put a picture up... There was a Babylonian ritual that involved amputation of the right hand, so another interpretation of Kessler's right hand being missing is punishment. A friend of mine brought to my attention that the first scene with Andrew Tefler's suicide could also be a reference to a Biblical story of Judah. Andrew, who was the first of the disciples, betrays Jesus either for material gain (since wealth is emphasized) or secret knowledge, since he was into the occult.Eventually ends up hanging himself. Also, since I don't really know anything about the models/makes of cars, I guess I missed a direct reference to the beast and also something about the engine being a V10 (10 horns). Let me know if you notice something I've missed or if you can interpret the sock thing. There was a scene with Corso soaking his feet and taking off his red socks and shoes (symbols of the material) and attention was drawn to his bare feet. So there's definitely some type of message behind the orange and green, but since both colors are associated with the physical, I'm not sure what to make of it. Fertility and growth? Possibly reference to heart and groin chaKras (love and sexuality)? No idea.
