AT LASH Day 14 & 15 (Galehead Hut to Mizpah Spring Hut)

The White Mountains continue with another unforgettable stretch of the Appalachian Trail. After leaving Galehead Hut, I make my way through fog, rocky descents, and Zealand Hut before getting an unexpected hitch into Conway with the help of an Appalachian Mountain Club employee. After replacing my worn-out trail shoes at REI, it's back to the mountains for the climb to Mizpah Spring Hut, where I rest and prepare for one of the biggest milestones of my hike—the ascent of Mount Washington.
