Matchless Model X Service Part 6.

This set of videos looks at servicing my recently acquired 1937 Matchless Model X motorcycle. The bike was in storage foe the last 4 years and is now in need a full and thorough service before I even attempt to start it, let alone take it for its first ride. This video shows the battery casing being welded up followed by checking the carburettor and magneto after the engine failed to start. The magneto is then removed and bench tested and found to be faulty. It's then sent away to be reconditioned and on its return it worked perfectly. Finally time to start the engine!!
