Dağköy’de Piknik Şöleni

Picnic Celebration in Dağköy Dağköy, located in the Arpaçay district of Kars, became a meeting point for expatriates seeking to alleviate their longing for their homeland after many years. The picnic, organized for the second time by the Arpaçay Dağköy Association, was a heartwarming and emotional event in the village. This year's event, held in the old school building, saw a large turnout. Guests were served food. The picnic, filled with traditional folk dances accompanied by drums and zurna (a type of wind instrument), and lively conversations, reinforced feelings of friendship, brotherhood, and solidarity. Participants thanked the association for the meaningful organization and expressed their hope that such events would become a tradition.
