How To Make A Delicious Cholent For Shabbes | Cooking Lesson with Danny Blueberry
Hi Everyone, Here is my personal recipe and step by step guide to preparing a sensationally delicious Cholent. For those of you who do not know what a Cholent is, this is a traditional Ashkenazi Jewish food that is prepared in a Crock Pot on Friday nights before the Sabbath starts (before sundown) and is slow cooked through the night and then served for Saturday lunch after synagogue service. The reason this dish exists is that orthodox jews are not permitted to turn on stoves or ovens on the Sabbath, therefor, since this dish was started before Sabbath, it is really the only way to get a hot meal on Saturdays. It is also really really delicious and full of wholesome ingredients. If you like this video, please remember to SUBSCRIBE and I'll make some more videos about cooking. Love to all, Danny Blueberry
