Whether you call it cholent, chulent, מתכון לחמין, hamim shabbat or dafina de shabbat it all means the same thing: easy COMFORT FOOD recipe i.e. an amazing shabbat stew slowly cooked ( in the crock pot, the slow cooker or in the oven) from Friday before sundown to Saturday ( shabbat ) lunch! This recipe is foolproof, easy and uses simple ingredients and is completely prepared in 15 minutes! As a bonus we even added a recette de blé ie wheat/ blé/ chita recipe! you can also add to this recipe more beans, kishka, dates,.. whatever you want to add in it! keep in mind that you can do this cholent recipe in a slow-cooker / crock pot or in the oven ( specially in a dutch oven you leave it in the oven at 300*F overnight) Labriut and shabbat shalom!
