Just another beautifully ordinary day 🌅 — our cat Mao took over as the family alarm clock this morning, our baby has suddenly become the chattiest little guy 🗣️, and we ended the evening with a big tray of fresh, crispy tempura. 🍤 Soy-sauce ramen for lunch, an oil change in between, and so much love in a tiny apartment. This is our real life. 💙 📍 Nago, Okinawa, Japan 🍽️ Today's Menu 🍞 Breakfast: Bread, a boiled egg & cheese (+ soup & egg salad for us) 🍜 Lunch: Shoyu (soy-sauce) ramen 🍤 Dinner: Vegetable tempura & chicken sauté 🍤 A Little Note — Tempura: Tempura is a Japanese dish of veggies or seafood dipped in a light batter and fried until perfectly crisp. Goya (bitter melon), pumpkin, green pepper… straight from our local market.
