Quad Foreign Ministers to Convene in Philippines in Two Weeks, U.S. Ambassador Confirms

In a significant announcement at the IX U.S-India Strategic Partnership Forum Leadership Summit 2026, U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor confirmed that the foreign ministers of all four Quad nations — the United States, India, Australia, and Japan — will convene in the Philippines in approximately two weeks. Speaking on June 30 in Washington DC, Ambassador Gor emphasized that all four partners are moving in full synchronisation to strengthen their regional alliances. He noted the upcoming meeting builds on the recent Quad gathering held in Delhi.
