Desert To Open Road

About to leave the desert for the open road. Time for channel update in this episode of the Bob Davis Podcasts on YouTube. Firstly included in this episode is the first comprehensive explanation of what is needed to fix the door on the side of the truck which was damaged in a truck stop in Coachella. Secondly with a growing YouTube community for The Bob Davis Podcasts… and a comment from a listener/viewer asking for more details on how they can help the channel… Prompted me to share my recent move to give something back to channel community members who donate. I’ve had a donate option on my website for years. Find it here: https://thebobdavispodcasts.com I have established a non-profit… Which means donations are tax deductible. More about that in the future. Subscribe for updates. I am a full time nomad. No frills. My goal is to travel the US as much as possible Without stop downs for fuel and mechanical issues. This is why donations are very helpful especially these days. Waiting for parts has made this winter and spring quite an ordeal. But we are nearing the end of the road on that. Within a week or so of this post, I should be back on the road. Check the earlier podcasts for details. Finally welcome new viewers and subscribers to the channel… As you know one constant in life is change. I am not the same person I was when I started out on the road in 2020. Travel broadens the mind ... or so they say. So many great things have happened and will happen. So my plan is to share as much as I can here. I also spend some time talking about the unique content on the Bob Davis Podcasts. That is to say I won't be telling you where to get the best hamburger on Route 66 or what battery to buy. I think there's quite enough of that content on YouTube. I will share my experiences and ideas regarding travel with people. All too often we pay too much attention to the nuts and bolts of so called #nomadlife, #vanlife or #rvlife And not enough attention to the experiences and how they change us. I also talk about the channel's growing subscriber base which at this time is roughly 9200. Not a lot if you have millions of viewers but a stunningly large amount if you're running a small channel like this one. Even more a small community of very positive people who love travel too, is starting to form up and it's very encouraging. Thanks for viewing! #offgrid #freedom #boondock #arizona #openroad #backroads #travel #experience #newlife
