17th Annual Science & Technology Fair | ACE Ambala Ambala College of Engineering & Applied Research (ACE), Ambala Cantt., successfully organized its 17th Annual Science & Technology Fair, a two-day celebration of innovation, scientific thinking, creativity, and technological excellence. The event is organized every year with the objective of encouraging school students and budding engineers to explore new ideas, develop problem-solving skills, and cultivate a spirit of innovation. The fair witnessed an overwhelming response from schools across the region. On the first day, 1,486 students from 34 schools participated, while on the second day, 2,155 students from 46 schools visited the campus, taking the total participation to more than 3,600 students from 80 schools. Students not only explored the exhibits but also presented a wide range of innovative working models and projects addressing real-world challenges. The inaugural day was graced by Shri Sudhir Kalra, District Education Officer, Ambala, as the Chief Guest and Shri Ajay Kumar Limal, Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ambala City, as the Guest of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Shri Sudhir Kalra inspired students to contribute innovative ideas towards realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, as envisioned by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. On the second day, Shri Vansh Taneja, Director, Taneja Public School, and Mrs. Shalu Bhasin, Principal, encouraged the young innovators and distributed prizes to the winners of the Shri Ram Swarup Memorial Trust Scholarship Test 2025. Outstanding students were rewarded with exciting prizes, including a Wi-Fi-enabled tablet, a Super AMOLED Smart Watch, and Bluetooth Smart Speakers. Throughout the two-day event, students showcased impressive projects in diverse fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Renewable Energy, Smart Cities, Healthcare Technologies, Smart Transportation, Automation, Environmental Sustainability, Banking Systems, and Social Sciences. Several innovative projects, including IoT-based Smart Parking with EV Charging, Human-Following Robots, Wireless Power Transmission, Li-Fi Communication Systems, Automated Smart Street Lights, Waste Segregation Solutions, Smart Solar Cities, and Advanced Healthcare Models, attracted significant attention from visitors and judges alike. In addition to school exhibits, ACE departments including Applied Sciences, Biotechnology, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Robotics & Machine Learning, and Bachelor of Business Administration presented their own innovative projects and live demonstrations. ACE students enthusiastically explained these projects to visiting students, teachers, and parents, providing valuable insights into emerging technologies and engineering applications. The event was attended by distinguished academicians, industrialists, trustees, faculty members, and industry experts who appreciated the creativity and technical competence displayed by the participants. The fair concluded with the announcement of competition results and prize distribution to the winning teams. The successful organization of the 17th Annual Science & Technology Fair once again demonstrated ACE's commitment to promoting scientific temperament, innovation, experiential learning, and industry-oriented education.
