Purasaivakkam - Chetpet Metro work shared in this video. This stretch is part of Chennai Metro Phase 2 Corridor 3 of Madhavaram Milk Colony - Siruseri Sipcot section. It is an underground section. Purasaivakkam, Kellys, Kilpauk & Chetpet are the metro stations constructed in this section. Kilpauk & Chetpet are interchange stations. Purasaivakkam metro station located in Purasaivakkam high road between Bsnl office - Abirami theatre bus stop. Tunneling work in progress almost nearing completion between Purasaivakkam - Kellys section. Once station box construction work completed at Kellys station, tunnel boring machine will reach Kellys. Kellys metro station located at Balfour road in between Balfour bus stop and Sunshine apartment. Kilpauk metro station located near Poonamalle High road just opposite Kilpauk Medical college hostel at Barnaby road. It will be an important Interchange station directly connected to the existing Kilpauk metro station of the Green line corridor ( St Thomas Mount ,- Chennai Central section ) Chetpet Metro station located just adjacent to Chetpet railway station adjacent to Dr Guruswamy Flyover. It is also an interchange station directly connected to the Chetpet railway station. Tunneling work is almost completed from Chetpet towards Kilpauk but still not sure whether Tunnel boring machine achieved breakthrough at Kilpauk metro station or not
