Zwift A Racing: The Master Tactician's Real Goal Wasn't Victory

After an absolutely brutal day at work, I jumped straight into one of the toughest places you can race—Zwift A Grade. Most riders enter every race trying to win. I didn't. This race had three very specific goals: ✅ Raise my Zwift Racing Score by racing smart rather than gambling everything for one result. ✅ Build confidence and experience back in the A category while riding on legs that were already completely exhausted. ✅ Test my physical and mental limits after one of the hardest workdays I've had in a long time. Sometimes the biggest victories don't come from standing on the top step of the podium. They come from sticking to the plan, making good tactical decisions, and proving you can still perform when your body is screaming for you to stop. If you're trying to improve in Zwift racing, this video shows why every race doesn't have to end in a win to be a massive success. Sometimes the smartest tactic is playing the long game.
