She goes to her room with Vildan. Her daughter accompanies her and Rana stays alone in the living room. Vildan says Humeyra is probably going to stay in her mother’s room for a while. This is a gentle way of saying “leave”. Rana understands and leaves… but now Vildan is on her radar. Outside the mansion, Rana calls Cem. She wants to break him the news. Now she has some pieces she cannot connect… and now she suspects that Vildan is also hiding something. Humeyra calls Kerem and tells him that Macide knows the truth now. Humeyra says it was Rana who told Macide everything. Tarik hears this. He can’t understand what she is up to. Rana knows Tarik hired someone to start the fire and it was all because of Elif…. and Macide didn’t know anything about the real damage. Rana thinks Macide got shocked when she learnt the truth and this means she may even die if she learns that Tarik did it… and the reason was Elif. Rana and Cem meet. Rana tells her the story. Cem finds it irrational but Rana is sure. She heard Tarik before. Now Rana tells Cem that Vildan also knows something. Kerem comes to the mansion. He tells her mother that the reason why they were hiding the truth was only because they didn’t want to hurt the woman. Macide says she is upset because her kids have been hiding the truth, not because they have lost money. Rana brings more pieces together. She now thinks Elif’s photo was on the posters and Tarik started the fire. This means Tarik is trying to hide the little girl. Macide’s heart softens. Kerem says he has been hiding truth for two reasons… Macide’s health and Kerem’s disappointment in himself. He says his father worked really hard for everything and now he has ruined it. Tarik calls Rana. She doesn’t answer. Tarik is furious. Now he makes a decision. He doesn’t want Rana to meddle in everything so he plans to hold Rana’a leash. Macide gives Kerem a pep-talk. She wipes away the disappointment which is growing inside Kerem’s brain. Vildan gets more and more busy. She decides to call Serce for the week. This means Elif is going to have a chance to see her mother. It is the fasting day, a sacred time. At the evening prayers, both Elif and Melek pray. Thew wish to find each other. Elif also remembers the old days when they were together happy as a family… Selim, Melek, Selim’s wife and her grandmother. Tarik keeps calling Rana but she doesn’t answer. She wants to hold the strings but Cem warns her. He says things may get messy and she has to be careful. Tarik comes to Rana’s house. He scolds her. Rana’s words drive Tarik mad. He grabs and squeezes her arm and warns her. He tells her to stay away from the mansion. They start to fight and Tarik hits the woman.
