The Story of Dr Paul Lam's Life, Chapter 7: Arthritis and How Tai Chi Changed My Life
This is Chapter 7 of a 10-part video series based on Born Strong , the memoir of Dr Paul Lam , creator of the Tai Chi for Health programs. Recorded in 2019, this video series features Dr Lam narrating his own story. Years of malnutrition left Dr Paul Lam with severe arthritis from the age of 13. By the time he graduated from medicine, he could not carry his doctor's bag without pain. He already knew the likely road ahead: medication, joint replacements, progressive disability. He decided to fight it. This chapter tells the story of how he found tai chi, how he came to learn from his father-in-law (a direct student of the grandson of Yang style tai chi's founder), and what tai chi gave him far beyond better joints. ▶️ Next: Chapter 8 - Learning from the World's Best - • The Story of Dr Paul Lam's Life, Chapter 8... 📖 Get the book: https://www.taichiproductions.com/boo...
