Adult Braces update || Deep bite, Overjet, and Jaw surgery

Hi there guys! This is my first braces video. Here’s some answers to a few of the questions you might have. I also have progress pictures near the end of the video if you'd like to skip to that part. How old are you? 22 How much did your braces cost you? $4,900 (without insurance) What’s a deep bite? A deep bite occurs when there is an abnormal vertical overlap between the upper and lower teeth. A normal overbite is about 3mm and anything over that is considered a deep bite, typically between 4mm and 10mm. In some cases, the bite may be so deep that the top teeth will completely hide the bottom teeth. That’s what I have.
