Amtrak's New Train Is Coming (for real this time) - Amtrak Airo Delivery Over Donner Pass - 7/22/25

The first of 83 Airo trainsets for Amtrak has finally departed the Siemens Mobility plant and is now bound for TTCI in Pueblo, CO as train 964 to begin year long testing period. This first trainset intended for service on the Cascades route is joined by the Pacific Bend sleeper, a Viewliner bag/dorm, and the Metroliner Conference car with officials from Amtrak and Siemens on board. As for plant updates, nothing much new is visible outside at the moment.
