First of 2026!

It was great to get out after a very long winter but the fishing was shockingly bad. With a very slack 3.8m tide, south-east wind in the forecast and May Rot already on the wrecks conditions could hardly have been poorer. That said, it was my first opportunity to get out this year so I wasn’t going to miss it. Didn’t blank, a few nice launce for the freezer and an unusual catch made the trip worth while. It can only get better from here, hope you enjoy it!
