My analyses of 1000 five-year-old Gemlik plants in Yukarı Karakurt, Denizli. I will be conducting a year-long study... Today, I was in one of the region's first and largest olive groves, overlooking the Recep Yazıcıoğlu Dam in the Yukarı Karakurt neighborhood of Denizli city center, to conduct a year-long, four-season study on the 1000-tree, 5-year-old Gemlik olive grove of our elder brother İsmail Bilgiç. I analyzed the grove on-site, explaining its strengths and weaknesses, and outlining the problems and solutions to the owner. Previously, incorrect practices were implemented, and we will begin correcting them immediately. In the first stage, I planned our foliar applications, and we will begin applying them immediately. We will also apply the necessary fertilizers through the drip irrigation system. Our owner consulted the wrong people before, and therefore didn't plow the field, and problems started immediately on June 17th. (This is unfortunately proof that you can only go so far by relying on those who don't know these things and watching videos. Therefore, working with someone who has dedicated years to this work will be a plus.) I will share information about where we acquired the grove and its problems on YouTube.
