Tomy Train Guy’s Custom Showcase: Annie and Clarabel

Annie can only take passengers, but Clarabel can take passengers, luggage, and the guard. They are both old and need new paint, but Thomas loves them very much. Here are my new models of Annie and Clarabel. These are the 2012 Trackmaster variants that I modified and painted in their HIT Era brown livery with dark gray roofs, since I prefer this look over their orange with white roof livery. Clarabel's guard compartment was made using balsa wood and putty, since she never got it when Tomy first made her and Annie. Their wheels are from a Tomy James tender since they had spoked wheels in the HIT Era, their front and backs were made using toothpicks, and their buffer rims were painted red. Finally, their faces are the Hit Toys Trackmaster Faces photoshopped in brown to match their new livery along with their nameplates. I'm very proud of how they've turned out and they look miles better than their original livery. I'll also update Thomas in the future.
