Snapper Kob Fishing - Durban Backline

An explosive start to the holiday season, we started the morning at Number 1 managing several fish (Bonnie, Almaco jack, kingfish, Sarda and Adam lost a massive fish after a 20min fight) The wind started to pick up, so we decided to head inshore for some snapper fun. The skipper didn’t disappoint and from the first cast it was fish after fish, we lost count after catching +-40 fish. Was an absolute blast targeting these snappers in the shallows and this will definitely be a great outing for the entire family and holidaymakers to head out and enjoy using light tackle along our Durban Backline. The area is somewhat sheltered depending on the wind direction which makes it ideal for kids as well. These guys didn’t mind soft plastics, slow jigs, and choka baits.
