Chasing After A RARE Native Cutthroat Trout | Fly Fishing Colorado

Took a fly fishing trip to eleven mile canyon to try and catch the rare cutthroat trout. The cutthroat trout is native to Colorado rivers and lakes. After catching several rainbow trout and a brown trout I was able to catch the cutthroat trout. This day was filled with catching a lot of fish, steep climbs, and gorgeous scenery. Fishing 11 mile canyon is an awesome time I highly recommend you to give it a try yourself. The trout were feeding on dry flies, emergers and nymphs so no matter your style of fly fishing 11 mile canyon is perfect for you. Most of the trout caught were in deep holes scattered from top and bottom of the river. The trout are very active and aggressive so be ready for strong takes and strong fights.
