A visit to the coastal town of Deal, Kent

Our look at the charming seaside town of Deal, on Kent's east coast. We fly over the historic beach, where the Romans first landed in 55BC before strolling the same stretch past Deal's Tudor Castle, built on the orders of Henry VIII, as a defence against the French. We checkout the Timeball Tower, and watch as the ball drops at exactly 1:00 pm. This Victorian tower helps keep the Navy, and mariners alike, on time. We then take a stroll along its pier, into the English Chanel before returning to ample along its quaint lanes, and quiet streets lined with pastel homes.
