Gibson L-5 1940, une légende entre les mains | Guitare Village avec Fabrice Leder & Julien Lima

A 1940 Gibson L-5 has arrived at Guitare Village: in its original Lifton case, 100% vintage, solid spruce top, ebony fingerboard, and original Kluson tuners with plastic buttons in perfect condition. Over 80 years old, and it still sounds great. Julien Lima from Guitare Village brought it back from Corsica to the Juke Joint for Fabrice Leder to try out, who then played it for a session. The rounded neck, the thick yet comfortable profile, the natural projection of a 17-inch body: it has it all. A Big Band guitar, a western swing guitar, an instrument of the big bands of the 1940s, the L-5 remains one of the rarest archetypes produced by Gibson, at a rate of only 4 or 5 per year. This one is for sale at Guitare Village. 🎸 guitarevillage.com Video production: @MatNinatStudio
