Die Toten Hosen hören auf – wurde es langsam Zeit? (Trink Aus! Wir Müssen Gehen Review)

45 years after their formation and over four decades after their debut album, Opel-Gang, Die Toten Hosen are releasing their final studio album. With Trink aus wir müssen gehen (Drink Up, We Have to Go), one of Germany's most important rock bands bids farewell to the world of contemporary music – and in doing so, they bring to the table everything that made them great: loud guitars, big melodies, attitude, humor, and a whole lot of emotion. In this video, I'll be listening to the album song by song, discussing the criticism leveled at Die Toten Hosen, the accusation that they're no longer punk, talking about Campino, days like these, moving farewell moments, and why a particular song on this album almost brought me to tears. Is Trink aus wir müssen gehen a fitting finale? Or should the band have called it quits sooner? This is going to be interesting. 🎵 Songs discussed include: Here Are the Trousers Die Toten Hosen Were Never Gone The Show Must Go On Bad Neighbors What Once Was No Power to Rehearsals What's Wrong With Us No Strings Attached Between Us Eyes Closed Happiness Düsseldorf Drink Up 💬 What do you think of the new album?
