Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer V. Anbukumar said 44.84 lakh electors have been identified under the Absentee, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate and Others (ASDD) category during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 exercise. Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, he said the list has been shared with booth-level agents and political parties for verification, urging voters to report discrepancies.
