Two Days & Three Metal Detecting Hunts on Myrtle Beach

Join us as we beach metal detect up and down Myrtle Beach across two winter days and three separate hunts. Winter conditions meant the jewelry count was lower than usual, but the beach still had some surprises waiting for us if we stayed patient and kept swinging. Day one gave us a mix of coins, fishing gear, and some strange buried finds, along with a look at the massive beach rejuvenation project moving sand along the shoreline. It was a slower hunt overall, but right near the end of the day the sand finally cooperated and gave up a cross bracelet that made the grind worth it. Day two brought more signals, more coins, and some truly unique discoveries — including vintage WWII .50 caliber shells from 1943 and 1944 that came out of the sand in surprisingly good condition. We also pulled out one of the biggest fishing weights I’ve ever found and a few other unexpected targets before wrapping up the hunt. Even when winter beach conditions make things tougher, hunts like this prove there’s always something interesting buried out there if you’re willing to put in the time.
