Mons. Comastri racconta la vita di Edith Stein – Santa Teresa Benedetta della Croce
Edith Stein (1891–1942) was born into a Jewish family. As a young woman, she became an atheist. A highly intelligent woman, a scholar of philosophy and thirsty for truth, she discovered Christianity through a book by Saint Teresa of Avila and converted. She entered Carmel, from which she was later taken by the Nazis to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where she died. Blessed in 1987 by Pope John Paul II, she was canonized by the same Pope in 1998.
