Merida Reacto 2026 test a fondo: la bici aero más rápida que he probado
Bike Testing Project: the new Merida Reacto Team, the fifth generation of Merida's aero bike. At first glance, this bike has something unusual for an aero: gaps between the wheel and frame. Where many brands try to close and integrate as much as possible, Merida has left space, aiming to maintain front aerodynamic performance while improving crosswind handling. In this video, we analyze the complete Merida Reacto Team: real-world feel, crosswind stability, geometry, weight, technical details, components, pricing, and data obtained at the Barcelona velodrome. Within my testing protocol, the Reacto has been one of the fastest bikes I've tested so far. This isn't a perfect lab comparison, as conditions can change, but it's a very interesting benchmark within bike testing. We also review external data, such as that published by Tour Magazine, where the new Reacto appears as one of the fastest bikes in the wind tunnel, with significant differences depending on the components, wheels, and cockpit. In this video we talk about: • Merida Reacto Team 2026 • 5th generation of the Reacto • Aerodynamics and velodrome data • Feelings in crosswinds • Geometry and size • Actual weight ready to ride • CF1 and CF2 framesets • Reacto range builds and prices • Pros and cons of the bike • Which rider it makes sense for The test unit is the Merida Reacto Team, equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Vision Metron 60mm wheels, and a CF5 frameset. Actual weight of the unit: 7.35 kg ready to ride, with pedals, bottle cages, and GPS mount. 💬 What do you prefer in a road bike: maximum aerodynamics, low weight, or stability in crosswinds? 🔔 Subscribe for more technical analyses, bike testing, factory visits, and road bike reviews.
