Basil Chicken
Ingredients: soy sauce- https://amzn.to/3IGPs43 dark soy sauce- https://amzn.to/3EN7oZX or https://amzn.to/3KIastV oyster sauce- - https://amzn.to/3HMT4kF • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil • 4 cloves garlic, minced • 2 Thai red chilies, sliced • 3 sweet peppers, sliced (optional) • 1 tablespoon soy sauce • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce • 1 tablespoon sugar • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, packed • 1-4 large eggs Instructions: 1. Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. 2. Add the garlic, chilies, and sweet peppers (if using) and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds. 3. Add the chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. 4. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper, stirring to coat the chicken. 5. Add the basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until the leaves are wilted. 6. In a separate non-stick pan, heat up 1 tablespoon of oil over high heat. Crack the eggs into the pan, and let them cook until the whites are set and the edges are crispy, but the yolks are still runny. 7. To serve, place a fried egg on top of each serving of chicken basil. The runny yolk will add an extra layer of richness and flavor to the dish. 8. Serve with rice.
