Painting With Three Different Yellows and One Black - Friday, Week 51 (29/01/2021)

Friday! This is our last day on our Black Week, and today's intent was two-fold. On the one hand we eliminated Titanium White from our palette and explored the more subtle impact of Ivory Black in a Yellow Hue dominante painting (Lead Tin Yellow, Bismuth Yellow, Cad Yellow Deep). And on the other hand, we tried to make sense of the manner in which a painting like Goya's Dog (imho the greatest in Painting History) can be the referential catalyst for a whimsical and light-hearted approach. Today's model, the wonderful Hodge. It's Hodge, it's Goya, it's Godga.
