Using Software Instruments in Finale
In this video, Dr. Watson offers a brief overview of how to modify software instrument sounds assigned to a score, and how to use a few other features (i.e. the Mixer and Audio Units effects) to obtain a better, more realistic sound. The video features sounds from the Garritan Personal Orchestra (Finale GPO) and Garritan Concert and Marching Band sample libraries. Dr. Scott Watson teaches in the School of Music at Cairn University (Langhorne, PA).
