In today's video, I'll show you how to make crispy and delicious Mash Dal Samosas that are perfect for tea time, Iftar, or any family gathering. Ingredients: 300g Mash Dal (Black Gram Lentils) 400g Chopped Onion 1 Bunch Fresh Coriander (Chopped) 10–12 Green Chilies (Chopped) Spices: 2 tbsp Crushed Coriander 1 tbsp Cumin 2 tbsp Crushed Red Chili 1 tbsp Black Pepper 1 tbsp Salt For Boiling the Dal: 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder ½ tsp Salt Method: Wash the mash dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. After soaking, boil the dal by adding 1 tablespoon turmeric powder and ½ teaspoon salt until it is about 50–70% cooked. Drain the water completely and leave the dal in a strainer until all the excess moisture is removed. Now add the chopped onions, fresh coriander, and green chilies. Then add the crushed coriander, cumin, crushed red chili, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything well until the filling is evenly combined. Fill each samosa strip with 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the prepared filling. Fold the samosas neatly and deep fry them over medium heat until they turn golden brown, crispy, and crunchy. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite chutney and enjoy!
