Actor spi, who is active in a wide range of fields from musicals to straight plays and 2.5D stage productions, travels around Japan guided by his own "likes" in this new kind of documentary variety show. The memorable first episode is a "spontaneous trip" where the destination is not revealed in advance. Starting with spi's simple statement, "I like salt," the staff guides him to Toda, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a port town where salt is made using methods passed down since ancient times. Though initially bewildered by the sudden start of the trip, spi walks the town in search of salt, interacts with locals, and encounters stunning scenery, hot springs, and local gourmet food. Eventually arriving at the "Toda Salt Association," he experiences traditional salt making and is touched by its depth and the warmth of the people.
