WOLVES OF THE ETERNAL FOREST

Are we actually good enough for this? WOLVES OF THE ETERNAL FOREST follows Swedish climbers Olof Terner and Erik Von Keyserlingk deep into Patagonia — a raw, personal expedition across some of the most demanding granite on earth. Directed by Harald Edlund. Premiering here on the VALLON channel. ABOUT THE FILM This isn't elite athletes chasing records. It's a group of climbers confronting extraordinary terrain: brutal weather, punishing approaches, self-doubt, and the unforgiving walls of Patagonia. The expedition unfolds in three chronological acts — from the jungle granite towers of Cochamó, to the iconic spires of Frey, and finally the storm-ridden massif of El Chaltén. What begins as a climbing objective becomes something deeper: a reflection on perseverance, ambition, and the eternal pull of the mountains. The title comes from a poem explored in the film's final scene — no matter how much you feed the wolves, they always return to the forest. "It's a metaphor for the insatiable hunger of the climber," says director Harald Edlund, "who is always drawn back to the mountains in the end, no matter how many years he lives in civilization." WHY VALLON SUPPORTED THIS FILM "At VALLON, we believe the best adventure stories aren't about perfection or performance metrics — they're about the people willing to step into the unknown, confront uncertainty, and discover something meaningful along the way. Wolves Of The Eternal Forest captures exactly that spirit." VALLON makes performance eyewear for the mountains and everywhere the adventure leads. Classic Style, Maximum Performance.
