The Small Changes that Make a Classic More Enjoyable to Drive | Jaguar MKII | What's in the Workshop
In this episode of What's in the Workshop, we take a closer look at a beautiful, low-mileage Jaguar MKII that came to us for a usability-focused refresh. Originally delivered in the UK and imported to Australia by its first owner after touring the UK, this MKII has had remarkably few owners and appears to have led a very gentle life. The goal wasn't to restore the vehicle as it was purchased by it's new owner for its sound condition. Instead, we focused on making it easier and more enjoyable to drive regularly while preserving its character. Work completed includes: Electric power steering conversion Retractable seat belts Positive-to-negative earth conversion Modern head unit with phone connectivity Electronic distributor upgrade General mechanical inspection and service These subtle changes make a significant difference to day-to-day usability without changing what makes a Jaguar MKII special.
