from the top down; building a DIY coffered ceiling, transom wall, and adding the trim boxes
This week is a big one, as I finally tackle the coffered ceiling. Perhaps the most ambitious of the drawing room projects, the coffered ceiling took months to finish and a whole lot more wood than I could imagine. But the finished look is truly one of beauty. Plus, this week I framed in the transom wall with some of the final trim, added the trim moulding to the walls that will encase all of the artwork, and learned how to use a brad nailer and the detail paint sprayer.
