Emil Schmeckenbecher H-65 Time & Strike movement, Part 1
Emil Schmeckenbecher was a clockmaker from West Germany. The company existed from 1948 to 1996. Known for their Cuckoo clocks, they also offered a range of other mechanical clocks. In this video, I disassemble, clean and reassemble one of their H-65 movements with tips on what to watch out for when servicing this particular movement. Some of the information does also relate to other similar time & strike movements. I am not a qualified clock maker but rather an enthusiast of all things clock-related.
