Dan has lived in his DIY converted Chevy Express Van for 2 years. He moved into it because he felt stuck in a repetitive and monotonous of working a 9-5 and living paycheck to paycheck because of high rent costs. He was inspired by Vanlife Youtubers and saw that this lifestyle could be a way out of that cycle he felt stuck in. Dan has had a lot of different jobs so he felt capable of building out his own van and plus he knew it would be cheaper than if he bought a pre fab or had someone else build it for him. His van is a simple chevy Express and it appears stealth from the outside because it used to be a construction van, and Dan built it out on the cheap but made it custom for his needs with a computer desk and kitchen table, storage, solar power wall for all his electronics and much more.
