Spots to Stop Off ■ Tonomine Plateau 〒679-3104 Kawakami, Kamikawa-cho, Kanzaki-gun, Hyogo Prefecture This spot is famous for its 90-hectare pampas grass plains. It gets very crowded during the autumn pampas grass season. The green plateau in summer is also a sight to behold! ■ Ikuno Ginzan Lake 〒679-3326 Shiraguchi, Ikuno-cho, Asago-shi, Hyogo Prefecture This artificial lake was built in 1972. It seems like a mecca for fishing, but its beautiful scenery and pleasant winding roads make it a popular spot for bikers as well. ■Aogaki Pass Address: Kurokawa, Ikuno-cho, Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture 679-3341 National Route 429 This somewhat rough road crosses Lake Ginzan and heads toward Tamba. National Route 429 is one of those roads where passing is difficult in places. While the road runs through a cedar forest, caution is required due to loose gravel and difficult passing. In early spring, this is a spot where you can see clusters of Mitsumata trees. ■Kuratanigawa River Park Address: 572-1 Tochihara, Ikuno-cho, Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture 679-3331 This is a spot with a beautiful river where we took a break in the video.
