Marta González Novo l La pulsión de muerte en Lorca

Cadena SER journalist Marta González Novo will give a lecture dedicated to the most intimate and mysterious world of Federico García Lorca. Entitled “The Death Drive in Lorca,” the lecture will explore the poet’s most premonitory and symbolic side: the Federico of foreboding, of dark intuitions, of extreme sensitivity, and of that constant awareness of destiny that permeates much of his work and life. Through poems, letters, and biographical episodes, Marta González Novo will offer a journey through the signs, shadows, and emotions that foreshadowed Lorca’s tragedy, revealing how the celebration of life coexisted with a profound perception of death. A different and evocative perspective on one of the most fascinating authors of 20th-century Spanish literature.
