Jazz Improvisation (Ad-lib Performance) Flute: Nanako Shibuya (Graduated from Showa University of Music, Jazz Saxophone Course) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jazz Improvisation Flute: Nanako Shibuya (Graduated from Jazz Saxophone Course of Showa University of Music) Nanako Shibuya Profile Studied under Professor Atsushi Oka from high school, and entered the Jazz Saxophone Course at Showa University of Music as a scholarship student with full tuition waiver. At the Faculty of Music, Showa University of Music, she studied jazz alto saxophone under Professor Kazuhiko Kondo. She started playing jazz flute after turning 20, and after graduation, in addition to live performance activities, she developed the "Nanako Jazz" business. Over 200 people from across Japan have participated in in-person jazz improvisation seminars, and more than 100 custom-made improvisation solo scores have been provided. Sales of his books, "Jazz Improvisation Phrase Collection" and "Jazz Improvisation Instruction Book," have exceeded 1,900 copies. Since 2020, he has transitioned to improvisation web seminars, offering over 200 videos via subscription.
