End of Season Gala - Bodmin and Wenford Railway - 2023

Cornish hill climbing - 5 weeks on from the China Clay Gala, the Bodmin & Wenford Railway hosted its final and End of Season Gala. There was a lot happening; Home Prairie 5552 ran with sister & visiting Prairie No. 5553, doubling up on multiple occasions, A Class 08 shunter was doing the occasional freight train, and Bagnall Saddle tank, “Judy” taking charge with the brake van rides. There was also Class 50 No. 50042 “Triumph”. Unfortunately, it failed on its second train of the day resulting in withdrawal from the weekend and a modified timetable. It's very lovely to film these occasions on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, they always put on a good show for their size, well worth a visit. All that's left for this year is the Santa Specials.
