Exploring Kyoto with Her: Fushimi Inari ⛩️ to Japanese Casino 🎰

Day 10 and we’re not slowing down. We left Osaka early and jumped a short train to Kyoto 🚆, ready to hit the temples and soak up that spiritual side of Japan. First stop: a local temple near Kyoto Station ⛩️, plus a pop-up market 🛍️ happening right outside — lots of handmade stuff, food stalls, and good vibes. Then we made our way to the legendary Fushimi Inari Taisha, home of the 10,000+ red torii gates stacked along a mountain trail. What we thought would be a short hike turned into a full-on 2.5 to 3 hour climb. 📏 It’s about 4km (~2.5 miles) round trip 🥵 Hundreds of stairs, deep forest energy, and sweat for days. We made it to the very top shrine, but right as we got there — my phone DIED 🔋💀, so you’ll catch the last clip mid-shutdown. Unreal. We trained back down to Kyoto Station, grabbed our bags and Kuromi 🖤 from the locker, and checked into our new Kyoto hotel 🏨. Quick shower, change, reset… Then we hit downtown Kyoto, found a local casino 🎰, and the night ended with a W! She’s a lucky girl — my winner for the night 💸💫 No plan, no script — just good moves and better energy. Tomorrow?
