WizMaker WAND 12W | Does This Tiny Laser Actually Work?

The WizMaker WAND 12W laser engraver is aimed at artists, makers, and small studios who are thinking about adding a diode laser to their workflow without jumping into a large or industrial machine. In this video, I spend time using the WizMaker WAND 12W in my garage studio. It’s designed for beginners and small shops, not production work. I focus on what it does well, where it has limits, and whether it makes sense if you’re just getting started or adding a laser to an existing setup. WizMaker sent me this machine to review. I skim through unboxing and setup, run real engraving and cutting tests, and talk about safety, ventilation, accuracy, and cut quality using projects I actually plan to use in my studio. If you’re looking for a diode laser for wood, plywood, MDF, paper, or similar materials, this should give you a clear idea of what to expect.
