GO Trains, VIA, Amtrak & CN L554 at the Sixteen Mile Creek Bridge - October 2022

In the fall I visited the Sixteen Mile Creek Bridge in Oakville, Ontario. This rustic bridge was built in the early 1900s and is a 5-span steel truss bridge with stone columns and foundations. The scenery around the bridge is especially beautiful in the fall with all the fall colors. I visited the bridge on several occasions to be able to get as many cool trains here as I could. Most notably I filmed the dual F59's, GO Transit old cab car leading, an MP40PH doubleheader, two VIA Rail trains, the morning Amtrak heading to New York, and the local CN Train that runs on the Oakville sub. I filmed from three different locations to capture all the angles. The first spot was below the bridge at Hog's Back Park. The second spot was about level with the bridge on the sidewalk at Speers Road. And the final spot was elevated above the bridge to capture all of the Oakville scenery at the overpass on Queen Mary Drive.
